Segundo o antropólogo americano Tim Ingold, "Left to themselves, materials can run riot. Pots crumble; bodies disintegrate. It takes effort and vigilance to hold things together, whether pots or people.". "Eu sei o que a terra faz" é um convite para um olhar atento à fragilidade do volume escultórico, consciente que sua desintegração é iminente.
